Team Unlimited (FTC 0001) will be moderating an FTC Futures Forum at the FIRST Robotics Conference, during the FIRST World Championships at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. It is scheduled for 6:30-8:00 pm on Thursday evening (04-15-2010) in room GWCC C204, you do not have to register for the Robotics Conference to attend, and it is free to all FTC teams and interested parties. If your team will be at the World Championships, and you are interested in passing on your ideas as to improving the FIRST Tech Challenge program in coming seasons, please participate in the forum! If you do not plan on being at the World Championship, your feedback is still critical to the program. Your ideas emailed to syraweb@comcast.net will be compiled and submitted to FIRST! Abstract: Team Unlimited (FTC 1) will moderate an open forum discussing possible future enhancements for the FTC program. We anticipate a spirited and positive session in which FTC teams can put forward their ideas for future improvements to the program. Discussion could range through desired new features for the Tetrix kit through the role of FTC in the FIRST program pantheon to the structure of the FTC challenge and season itself, and hopefully in unexpected directions. Please come prepared with your ideas (if you see a problem, bring your solution!) - we feel that the teams attending the World Championship include some of the most motivated and committed members of the FTC community, and their feedback and ideas will benefit the future of the FTC. |
